Group A and B Water System Information and Contamination
Alcorn Pump and Water Filtration works with and on Group A and B water systems, providing water testing, service, maintenance and repair. We work with and side by side water operators, engineers and communities when needed for these systems. We are in the process of looking into obtaining our water operators license at this time. In the meantime, please contact us for any questions and we will be happy to help and get your system scheduled for a service and site visit.
Community water system means any Group A water system providing service to 15 or more service connections used by year-round residents for 180 or more days within a calendar year, regardless of the number of people, or regularly serving at least 25 year-round (i.e., more than 180 days per year) residents.

Examples of a Community water system might include a municipality, subdivision, mobile home park, apartment complex, college with dormitories, nursing home, or prison.

Community water systems are regulated under Chapter 246-290 of the Washington Administrative Code.
